Is your microwave looking a little, um, gross on the inside? It’s ok, I won’t tell anyone. Mine was dirty too, really dirty. I have discovered a super easy way to clean the nuker with very little effort. Yesss! Here’s how to do it:
Get a microwaveable bowl and add 1-2 cups of water and then pour in 1-2 Tablespoons of white vinegar. Put it in the microwave and shut the door and then turn it on for 5 minutes. After the microwave is done, remove the bowl with an oven mitt or something heavy like a towel. It’s going to be hot! You can let the bowl sit for a minute or two if your microwave is especially grungy. Remove the tray and wash it in the sink. It will be hot too so be careful.
Now you can take a cloth and wipe down your microwave. You may need to scrub a little, but overall the process should be really easy and only take you one or two minutes. Nice huh? If only cleaning the shower was so easy….
Do you have any easy, frugal cleaning tips? I’d love to hear them.
