If you find yourself in Oregon during the Holiday Season, you’ll want to be sure to put the Christmas in the Garden event at The Oregon Garden on your to-do list. Christmas in the Garden is a magical experience in Silverton, based on a traditional German Christmas Market.

It features 1 million lights, a twinkling 100-foot long Candy Cane Tunnel, festive music by carolers, and much more excitement!

There is so much to see, hear and do at this event for everyone in the family. There is live music, a Kiddie Corral where toddlers can play, shopping…

Along the trails, you will find several cozy fire pits…

For an extra fee you can ice skate and…

even try snowless tubing.

And don’t forget to visit Santa Klaus and Krampus!

My family and I had a great time at this event. Here are just a few of the many things we saw while we were there.

Admission is free for kids 10 & under, and ranges from just $5 – $15 for adults, depending on the night. Season passes are available. The event is open most nights Nov. 23 – Dec. 31 (closed on December 24 & 25) and an overnight package is available at the Oregon Garden Resort. Christmas in the Garden runs from 5pm – 9pm and parking costs $5.
